Gr 2-5-In the three newest titles of the "Dragon Girls" series, each character-Mina, Zora, and Eloise-takes the spotlight in her own adventure as they transform into dragons to protect the Magic Forest. The Chaos Queen is relentless in her attempts to destroy the forest, using threats like blue snow, dangerous fires, and lightning storms. It's up to the dragon girls to thwart her plans and protect their magical world. While the illustrations are small, they add a touch of whimsy, bringing the fantasy elements to life. The concept of girls transforming into dragons is imaginative and sure to captivate young readers, particularly those new to chapter books. With action-packed scenes and a strong sense of friendship, this series offers plenty of excitement. VERDICT A great addition to any collection, especially where there is a demand for dragon-themed stories that inspire courage and teamwork.
